Lush Mask of Magnaminty

LUSH MASK OF MAGNAMINTY - £5.25 for 125g/£9.25 for 315g

For the last few weeks, I've been using face masks constantly in a bid to clear up my skin and get it into good condition ready for America. I wouldn't say that I've got bad skin as I'm far from it just I suffer with blemishes which can either be hormonal, stress related or just generally breaking out from product/s. In order to clear up my skin, I've been reaching for the Lush Mask of Magnaminty which I used a little before taking pictures for this review.. naughty beauty blogger!

The Lush Mask of Magnaminty is a multi purpose mask with a mixture of gentle yet very effective ingredients which helps to clean, calm and clear the skin. It is made with peppermint oil which helps stimulate the skin; honey which helps moisturise the skin as well as acts as an antiseptic; kaolin which both cleanses the skin and absorbs any excess oils; marigold oil and chlorophyllin to treat the skin and a combination of evening primrose seeds and aduki beans which help to gently exfoliate the skin whilst you remove it. As it packs a punch in terms of ingredients, it means that the scent may not to be to everybodys tastes which was certainly the case when I first used it but now I've grown to love the scent.

This mask can be used almost anywhere on the body but I've been using it purely as a face mask and I've noticed a huge improvement with my skin. It has helped to calm down any redness and existing blemishes as well as preventing promising ones. It has made my skin feel a lot smoother especially on my cheeks which is where I suffer with many unknown lumps and bumps. I've been using this almost on a daily basis for the last three weeks or so which is not good for my skin, I know, just I really want to make sure that my skin has cleared up for America which it certainly has.

I know that it may seem a little pricey but you have to remember that a little goes a long way and I've easily had about 15 applications from this and have got some left. Also as this isn't one of Lush's fresh face masks which you have to use within two weeks and keep in the fridge, it's going to last quite a while. A whole four months to be precise before it goes off. I can easily see myself repurchasing this once I've used this up as it's definitely one of those face masks to have on hand when you've had a breakout.
